NEW LOCKDOWN 5TH NOVEMBER 2020

As-Salaamu Alaikum – Peace Be Upon You All

We have been working with British Government and following all the guidelines in our mosque to keep the community safe and sound against Covid19. The Prime Minister has announced new Lockdown starting from 5th November 2020 to 2nd December 2020 to control the spread of Corona Virus across England.

The new lockdown regulations do not allow prayers to take place in congregation at places of worship including our mosque . This means that Jumuah Prayer and all congregational prayers  within the Mosque will be temporarily suspended following Isha prayer on Wednesday 4th November 2020.

However we do not want to close the masjid and keep our mosque available for certain times just for individual prayers. In the meantime we will also continue to support the community through Online Muslim Counselling, Online Friday Sermon (Khutbah) , Food Distribution to the families in need, Funeral Service (Janazah), Online Madrasah service and etc.

NO JUMUAH AND NO CONGREATIONAL PRAYER AT ANY TIME in the mosque until forther notice.

The doors will be open for daily individual prayers:

– 6.00 to 7.00 am for Fajr (Morning Prayer)

-12.00 to 13.00 pm for Zuhur (Noon Prayer)

-14.00 to 15.00 pm for Asr (Afternoon Prayer)

-16.30 to 17.00 pm for Maghrib (Evening Prayer)

-18.00 to 19.00  pm for Isha (Night Prayer)

This is a decision made to prevent the further spread of the virus in our mosques and the UK at large, with the foremost being the protection of the elderly and vulnerable amongst our communities.
